Northampton Crew Rows in Head of the Charles

Northampton Youth and Community Rowing's Youth Eight Men's boat finished with a time of 17:00 in Sunday's Head of the Charles regatta. The 8+ boat was the crew team's only entry in this year's Head of the Charles. The team improved its finish by 25 places from their 2008 time, coming in this year 45th out of a field of 79 boats from across the U.S., Great Britain, Canada, and Turkey. The coxswain was Katherine McKimmie and rowers included Alex Pilewski, Simon Ross, Corey Wilga, Max Korgius, Aaron Doucett, John Wolfe, Harrison Drouin Reed, and Jake Winniman.

The Head of the Charles is the largest two-day rowing regatta in the world, with over 7,500 participating rowers.
