New Session and Financial Assistance

We'd like to remind  to all competitive rowers that the next session begins July 11 and that they should re-register now on Regatta Central. Every year the NCR Board of Directors makes funds available for financial assistance to rowers in the annual budget. These funds are awarded by the Executive Committee, with priority going to youth rowers, based on a review of requests. Adult rowers with financial need may also apply for assistance. To request financial assistance in meeting your program fees, send a short, written statement of interest to president@hampcrew.com. The deadline for applying for assistance for the next session is July 11. Decisions will be made by July 14. New This Session: Program Discounts for Session Volunteers! The Board of Directors has implemented a new volunteer rewards program to help our growing organization accomplish specific, hard-to-complete jobs while assisting adult rowers in keeping program fees down.  Each session the Director of Programs will develop a list of volunteer jobs and will accept applications for Session Volunteers.  Volunteers who are appropriately skilled to complete the jobs will be expected to commit 10 hours of time on assigned responsibilities over a six week period.  Session Volunteers will receive 30% discount on their program fees for that six-week session. If you can donate 10 hours to Hamp Crew email Todd at headcoach@hampcrew.com to let him know you are interested in being a Session Volunteer. Todd will try to pair you with a job that suits your abilities.
