BOARD OF DIRECTORS & BYLAWS

The NCR board of directors consists of our officers (President, Past President, Vice President, Treasurer, Clerk) and Directors At Large. Please see below for our 2023 Board. Our bylaws are publicy available and can be accessed at the bottom of this page.

Board Officers

Sally has rowed on the Connecticut River since 2000, first with Pioneer Valley Womens' Rowing, then with NCR, where she renewed her love for water, boats, speed, shiny things, and the lifelong friendships made along the way. Over the years, she has served as Team Captain, Equipment Coordinator and Vice President. As President, Sally is excited to help chart the course for a bright new future at the Connecticut River Greenway Park!

Amy first enrolled in the adult rowing programs at Northampton Community Rowing in 2016, returning to the sport of rowing 25 years after having rowed as a collegiate athlete at Smith College. She has greatly enjoyed the camaraderie, coaching expertise, and master's competitions through her involvement with NCR. Amy joined the Board of Directors in 2018 . She is a professor of geosciences at Smith College and has two teenage daughters.

Becca is a Northampton native who has been involved with Northampton Community Rowing since 2015. She joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and as of 2023 is taking on the role of Clerk. During her time with NCR, Becca has enjoyed participating in regattas and practices with her teammates. Becca lives in Easthampton and has worked in Development at Smith College since 2005.
