Youth Varsity Competition Team

Experience the head to head racing style of the spring with the NCR Youth Racing Team! For rowers with at least one year of rowing experience, who are looking for the highest level of competition. Rowers will hone their rowing technique and continue to improve fitness with both on water and land practices. Members of the Varsity Competition Team, will be expected to attend all practices and regattas.

Youth Novice Competition Team

No experience necessary, the Novice Competition Team is built of rowers who are in the first year of their rowing career but are looking for the challenge of racing. Practices will consist of both on-water and land practices designed to teach the rowing stroke, and build strength and endurance. Members of the Novice Competition Team will be expected to attend all practices and regattas in which they are competing.

Youth Summer Learn to Row

Summer is a great time to learn to row! Join NCR for an intensive two week long rowing camp where new rowers will learn technique in both sweep (one oar) and scull (two oars) rowing. Each practice will feature skill and fitness building activities which will focus on getting the athletes out on the water.
